The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the beautiful fields with zebra and springbok. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the hotel, and it truly felt like a hidden gem. The cottages were well-stocked, clean, and had excellent facilities including a lovely lounge area and a comfortable bed. We also loved the patio area and the braai facilities, where we were able to relax and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. this hotel offers excellent value for money and we would highly recommend it.

franschhoek country cottages is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. simple cottage with a cozy stoop and beautiful mountain views. kitchenette, comfortable bed, and plenty of hot water. great value and close to town. the animals right outside were a bonus.

One of the hobs didn't work, but it was not a major issue as a braai was available for use.

We had a fantastic time at the Country Cottages in Franschhoek. the setting up the valley made us feel truly immersed in nature. the kids loved watching the animals and riding their bikes around the area. the stoep and braai area provided a perfect spot to relax in the evenings, listening to the sounds of the night. We were amazed by the zebras, wildebeast, and springbok right outside our veranda, with stunning mountain views all around. the cottage was fully equipped for self-catering, and we appreciated the excellent shower and the bonus of braai wood supplied. it was a perfect stay for us, in a rustic and secluded location. Cons: Could not be improved in any way. 😊.

I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up to a zebra at my bedroom window during my stay at the Country Cottages. The cottage itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with a cozy fireplace and beautiful views of the fields and mountains. Despite a minor issue with mosquitoes and the need for a bigger fridge, I would highly recommend this unique accommodation for a getaway from the rush of life. a fantastic experience!

We recently had a romantic escape at a beautiful cottage in Franschhoek. the location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains and with a view of the fields where we could spot zebra, springbok, and other animals. It was such a tranquil and idyllic setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the cottage itself was fantastic - the bed was one of the comfiest we've ever slept on, and the shower was great too. We also loved the patio area and the braai facilities, where we enjoyed cooking and dining outdoors.

The only downside of the cottage was its distance from the center of Franschhoek. Although it was only a 4-kilometer drive, it would have been more convenient to be closer for dinner and other activities.
